Coaching Philosophy

At FR Racing, our philosophy is focused around an athlete-centered approach that is tailored toward athletic development. What an athlete-centered approach means for us is that we will do everything within our power to create a training plan that works within the limits of your day-to-day schedule. Your training plan will be developed around your work, family, and other responsibilities. Along with this, your training will also be highly influenced by the type of goals that you set in our pre-coaching discussions. We firmly believe that every athlete has an individual recipe for success. This recipe will vary based on the factors that play into the total experience that is being an athlete and an individual. We know life happens, and you cannot plan for everything, so we have an open communication policy. We will always get back to you within 24 hours- whether that be to change a day’s training schedule, discuss training metrics, alter training load because of outside stress, or any other conversation that may need to take place. 

While we are an athlete-centered coaching business, this does not mean that we take a submissive approach to workouts. We know the work that needs to be done in order to achieve your goals, so we simply fit it into your day, so that we can maintain balance in all aspects of life. In order to be a top-notch athlete, we believe that you must maintain a well-balanced life, so that when the time comes to perform, you can be 100% focused on the task at hand.

There is no one-way to train a champion, and that is why we feel we have one of the best coaching businesses around. We work with the athlete to mix both life and training in order to create a stronger athlete who can enjoy the entire process. Without the enjoyment and balance in one’s training and life, true development will cease to take place!
